Drag & Drop Import

Quickly import playlists by dragging and dropping from streaming services—the fastest way to get started!

How Drag & Drop Works

The drag and drop feature is the quickest and most intuitive way to import playlists from streaming services directly into Find My Tunes. No copying, no pasting—just grab and drop!

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1Open your streaming service (Spotify, Apple Music, or Tidal) in your web browser
  2. 2Navigate to the playlist you want to import and locate the playlist URL or album cover
  3. 3Click and hold on the playlist link or cover art in your browser
  4. 4Drag it over to the Find My Tunes desktop app window (keep holding your mouse button)
  5. 5Drop it onto the import section, and Find My Tunes will automatically detect and process the playlist URL!

Why Use Drag & Drop?

Faster than copying URLs: No need to right-click, select "Copy Link," switch windows, find the paste field, and paste. Just grab and drop—done in seconds!

More intuitive: It feels natural and mimics real-world actions. Grab something from one place and put it somewhere else—simple as that.

Works with all supported services: Whether you're using Spotify, Apple Music, or Tidal, drag and drop works seamlessly across all platforms.

Perfect for desktop workflow: Find My Tunes is optimized for desktop use, and drag & drop makes multi-window workflows feel effortless.

Pro Tip: If drag & drop doesn't work on your system (some browsers restrict it), you can always use the traditional copy/paste method from Step 5. Both methods achieve the same result—choose whichever feels more comfortable for your workflow!
